At the NORDBAT 2026 trade show, CAREA spoke to the trade press about developments in the facade and insulation market.
One key point stands out: the growing need for additional insulation in renovation projects.

Interlocking systems installed directly on rigid insulation make it possible to work on existing cladding without removing insulation that is still performing well: an in situ recycling approach that limits waste while improving the building’s energy performance.

Another major development is the adaptation of systems to greater insulation thicknesses, now validated up to 240 mm, while maintaining high fire performance (Euroclass A2-s1,d0).

Result:

✔ a concrete response to the challenges of energy renovation.
